Today, we’re going to explain 30-30 interval training, how to use it and, in particular,tell you about the main effects of this type of exercise.
Interval training results in longer times spent and more work done at VO2max and in lower blood lactates than does continuous, flat-rate training. Interval training improves endurance and increases aerobic capacity and so improves performance. Its aim is to strengthen the heart so that it can cope with starts, accelerations,sprints….It’s also useful for disciplines such as tennis, football, baskketball, handball and other ‘ explosive’ sports.
