RunKeeper and Jiwok make a great team
Post inGear, General, Mp3 WorkoutsIf you run with your Jiwok training program on a smartphone, you probably already know that there are numerous online tools which can enhance your workout and overall motivation. These applications aim to keep running fun and progressive with by tracking every kind of data you can think of.
But with so many running applications out there promising to track every step taken and calorie burned, how do you choose?
First ask yourself, what would you like to know? Duration, distance, pace, speed, GPS Tracking, all of the above?
Well, RunKeeper tracks all of these for you (and more), then automatically uploads this to their website where you can view your routes and run history.
You get all this while still being able to listen to your Jiwok coach and music in the background. All you need to do is start your Jiwok program on the iPod before launching RunKeeper.
What we love about RunKeeper is the clear display screen which updates in real time and is easy to read. The graph displays your pace in one-minute increments along with your time, speed (in miles or km), your total distance, and you average time per mi/km.
It’s also great for finding different running routes for you if you need a change of scene, great for beginners who want to track their progress, as well as advanced runners looking to improve their speed.
Try this great accompaniment to your Jiwok training program, it’s free to download, so what have you got to lose, except a few more pounds or a few more seconds off your personal record?
Happy Running
