How to run safely with headphones

We all know there are some dangers that go with running with headphones, but if you follow these tips and use good old common sense, they shouldn’t stop you from musical motivation.

1) Know your route in advance and be aware of the blind spots.

2) Keep the volume reasonably low. You should be able to hear conversation-level speech as well as the music, and turn it down or pause if you anticipate obstacles in your path.
